What an unbelievable August it’s been – we've been busy prepping for our first Cambodia project, the truck is on the road for it's latest mission, and we’ve had a hugely successful Blantyre campaign. This is what it’s all about!

The education aspects of our projects just keep developing every single week. The dream has always been to have an education programme that reaches over a million children per year and now, we’re not that far off from making it happen.

Cambodia is about to launch so we’re reaching more children in more countries than ever before and the results from the education teams across the board are just incredible. Thanks to you, we’re able to power on with this life-saving work.

Ranchi and Truck

We’ve had no reported rabies cases in Ranchi for yet another consecutive month! The big news, however, is that we are now on the cusp of getting permission to trial the rabies oral bait vaccine in Ranchi, which will be a tipping point for expanding rabies elimination in more rural areas. Hopefully Goa will soon follow and we’ll be away!

The truck has been out and about again this month, offering support in rural India and showcasing the value of this mighty mobile clinic out in the field. It is so uplifting to see it working so hard and some of the vets we’ve trained are now involved in driving things on.

Over 4,000 vaccinations administered last month – awesome work as always!

Over 30,850 dogs have been vaccinated in just the first eight days of the Blantyre city campaign this year. Thank you to Dogs Trust Worldwide and MSD Animal Health who make this project possible!

Our next step in Malawi is tackling Thyolo district – with your help, we’ll have a team on the ground in Thyolo in October, but we need to raise £10,000 to make it happen. This will enable us to vaccinate enough of the 24,000 dogs in the district to cut the disease cycle and protect the 80,000 schoolchildren at risk from dog bites. If you’d like to support us in this urgent mission, you can donate here!

Other news

Our teams are on a whirlwind mission this month – our first Cambodia project is currently underway and then they’ll be heading straight over to Goa – it’s going to be a HUGE September but we wouldn’t have it any other way!
