And we're off! Another year of power underway...

Here's the main updates from January 2020:

A great start to 2020, with our Tanzania campaign already having reached double the number of children than it did in 2019, with the final figure of children educated in January standing at an epic 27,249. Since then our Ghana education programme has also launched and is proving incredibly popular. Our plan is to double the number of schools we reach in 2019 in Ghana!

Since 2013 we have been making progress towards zero human rabies deaths, with the start of 2020 seeing our teams increase our surveillance operations as well as running effective animal birth control programmes. In January, we surgically treated nearly 800 dogs, as well as educating close to 10,000 children in the area.

After smashing our vaccination statistics last year, our Goa team have started 2020 with a bang as they administered over 8,000 vaccinations in January alone.  As well as this, we have seen a variety of different rescue cases and our surveillance programmes are running seamlessly and successfully!

Mission Rabies has started 2020 with a great energy and determination to smash our 2019 figures and get the job done! As always, a huge thanks must go to our supporters, followers, donors and partners for their continued support. Without them Mission Rabies would not be where it is today.
