We work closely with our sister charity WVS on a number of projects, and many of our campaigns are assisted by the teams from the WVS International Training Centres.

The main purpose of the centres is to train local and international vets and vet students with a focus on animal birth control surgeries, offering hands-on experience to develop skills and improve your technique. For 2019, places are already proving popular, but they still have a few spaces remaining at ITC Ooty and the Hicks ITC Goa in India!!

If you're a vet wanting to get more surgical experience, or a vet student looking to practice your technique out of a university setting, these two week intensive courses are for you! You'll be doing up to 14 spays or castrates and building your confidence each day, under the supervision of WVS vets who will always be on hand to help!

Not only will you be gaining valuable skills to help you in your career, you'll be helping animals who really need it. Veterinary care is sparse in the parts of the world we work in, so it even more important that the stray and owned dog population are kept healthy and under control. Explore India, learn and give something back all at the same time!

Together, we can be the difference!
