If anyone was thinking about volunteering with Mission Rabies, I would definitely tell them to go for it. I loved my time in Cambodia. I met some amazing people who all had the same goal in mind.

In the end, we vaccinated 26,951 dogs. We made a difference! For me, it is travelling with a purpose, and I enjoyed every bit of it. It will not be my last trip.

I am so grateful for the opportunity to see first-hand and contribute to the top-notch work Mission Rabies is doing in undeserved communities in Uganda. The organisation, team spirit and working alongside local volunteers was nothing short of amazing!

My time with Mission Rabies will always hold a special place in my heart. The work is exhausting, both physically and mentally, but so completely worth it. The work is important, and it’s topped with making new friends, while connecting with old friends.

Mission Rabies was a project that would have a lasting effect on people – in particular children and their canine companions. The project has an undeniable sense of purpose and gives you the opportunity to play an active role using your expertise to address one of the world’s biggest challenges
