Keeping people and animals safe in Sierra Leone.

Working in conjunction with local partners, a mass vaccination campaign was delivered in 2024, in Bo city, the 3rd largest city in Sierra Leone. A total of 4,936 dogs were vaccinated during the campaign that focused on the North of the city.

An education campaign was delivered in the lead up to the vaccination project to raise awareness about the dangers of rabies, how to stay safe around dogs, and to encourage members of the community to bring animals for vaccination.
